Jari Lappi returns as CEO of Mitta Group

Mitta Group is the leading surveying and geotechnical consulting company in the Nordic countries. It has grown in recent years and in 2023 its turnover was 54 million euros. General challenges in the construction industry also require Mitta to refocus its operations.

In order to support the company’s change process, Mitta’s Board of Directors has appointed Jari Lappi as Mitta Group’s CEO from 27 February 2024. Jari has also formerly worked as CEO in Mitta until 2019. Previous CEO Aki Puska will continue to support the board and CEO during the transition period.

“I want to thank Aki Puska for his contribution to the development of Mitta. However, now is the right time to make changes and build an even stronger and more unified Mitta,” says Timo Hyvönen, Chairman of the Board.

“Mitta operates in several customer segments, in most of which the demand situation is good and we have very strong expertise. I am committed to being the CEO during the change process that has now been started”, says Jari Lappi.
