Mitta Group’s Scandinavian growth continues by the first Norwegian acquisition

Mitta increases its environmental monitoring services by new business deal with the Norwegian hydrological modelling company – Think Outside.

Mitta Group has acquired Think Outside AS 8.11.2022. Think Outside is a technology startup developing innovative products for the outdoor and hydropower markets with the mission to provide a detailed, digital understanding of mountain snowpack. Think Outside’s Sknow radar systems provide accurate snow data – making forecasting faster, cheaper and easier. 

The deal strengthens Mitta’s monitoring- and data collection services further and breaks new ground for Mitta’s operations in Norway. Through the acquisition, Think Outside’s six (6) employees will be merged to Mitta Group and the senior personnel will also become Mitta Group partners.
